The price of a new setting would be way too much, i’ve looked into it. It would cost around 0 just for the setting. I was hoping the soldering would only be around 0 or less. For my costume in dance class we wanted to get big( not huge but pretty big) fake diamond rings and earrings (we’re doing diamonds are a girls best friend). I wonder this because I have a fade haircut and dress "urban" and have diamond stud earrings, but am a senior in college and not a thug/crackhead/etc. I work about 40 hrs a week and have since I was in high school. I guess I have this question bc I grew up in Chicago and LA and the cultures were all blended bc I was a military kid. I just think I am "urban" but in the south a lot of white people seem to think I want to be "black" or a thug. Why is this? You cannot act a race or ethnicity. I am a very diverse person though, I don’t really like white girls that much at all (dating wise) and prefer latinas and black girls more because they are more naturally curvy and gorgeous. Why is it people have a negative attitude based upon looks and who I like (to date, be friends with, etc)?? Is it just me?

I ususally keep my earrings in until I take them out to clean them. I’m worried about removing them every night might weaken the post on the diamond stud. Yet, if it is true you need to take out every night to let your ears "breathe"–I will do it. What is the general consensus here? Thanks.

I will be able to change my earrings from the ugliest piercing studs ever invented next week, and I would really like a pair of small diamonds.

I don’t mean big, expensive ones. Just small, cheap cut, low grade, possibly flawed ones – just to give that little bit of sparkle.

The thing is, I don’t want to buy ones that fund civil wars in African countries. Is there any way I can be sure they come from an ethical source, using a more reliable information than the salesman who calls himself a ‘jeweller’, and who is probably on commission?

If I can’t, then I’ll be going for fake (CZ) ones.

I have already done the get a stuffed animal and pierced its ears with the earrings… so anything else would be great. I’m all out of ideas.

I am looking at picking up some diamond stud earrings. I LOVE a pair that is total .90 ct F color & VS2 for 52 plus tax—but they no not come with certification because the broker does not certify anythign less than 1 ct–they are willing to provide an apprasial.

The othe pair is 1ct I VS2 (they are being brought into the store for me to see on Friday) they ARE certified and 20 plus tax…

The 1st pair is princess cut & 2nd pair round…

Does it matter that the 1st pr is NOT certified? They are BEAUTIFUL and I am purchasing froma reputable source –a nationwide chain.

Which is the better value/deal? Why?
